Bread Maker French Bread What Went Wrong With This Bread Recipe?

What went wrong with this bread recipe? - bread maker french bread

I have a bread maker as a gift for my wedding and I was dying to use it, and last night I tried the first time, the recipe uses bread machine's manual, and that's what it was:

1 and 3 / 8 cups water
1 a.m. to 1 p.m. / 2 tbsp vegetable oil
1 1 / 2 teaspoon salt
4 cups flour, bread (I used white wheat flour)
1 tablespoon sugar
2 teaspoons dry yeast

I followed the directions exactly, by pouring the liquid ingredients first, then dry ingredients, then the yeast in a well in flour. He said the use of "French bread" setting on the bread machine, so I did. I started the whole night, and when I woke up this morning, I went to him and all he had was a dry, hard rock! Just not even out of the pan! I really want to try again tonight, but I want to know where went wrong, so do not get the same result. Once the bread-maker's new book traveled, I realized that even a "comprehensive" framework, and I should have used thiselapsed time since the foundation of the whole wheat flour. Ideas?

You must carefully follow the recipe using a bread machine. If you change the flour, you need to make further changes. Read the instructions carefully. If you ask to use for flour and bread, go to the replacement table. Different flours have different properties and can actually change how you react yeast. Here in Canada, we use different measures of flour into a bread machine, that the United States because our flour is milled differently. Also, the temperature of your home can impact on your bread.
My husband has most of the bread that we eat and everyone is different and wonderful bread. Some are in between, some are bright and airy. But we eat and enjoy it all because they are homemade. Not that almost always better?
Keep trying and good luck!

The gluten in flour is different than the bread is wheat flour. This is probably the problem! I want to try the recipe again with the correct ingredients. If this succeeds, then you will discover the use of flour and wheat establishment.

Good luck!
